Overhanging upper lids fall into the socket of the eye and even hang over the upper eyelid. This makes the eyes look tired. Using light and dark shading, the form and shape can be optimally corrected.

Apply a dark, matted eye shadow colour onto the hanging upper lid. This draws attention away from the hanging lid. In order to visually lift the eyebrow, apply a pale eye shadow (highlighter) below the eyebrow. By emphasising the lower lid using eye shadow, kajal and eyeliner, and by applying several coats of mascara on the upper and lower eye lashes, the hanging lid is not so noticeable.
